The trouble with living in Vegas...

Stolen from http://www.grayflannelsuit.net

The title of this blog is a little misleading. Truth is, I AM IN LOVE WITH LAS VEGAS!!! Vegas has brought me so much happiness and has welcomed me with open arms. It's like a mini New York with a sprinkling of Los Angeles and a hint of small town community. It really is great and I am looking forward to exploring the city more and more. (I may or may not have just watched a marathon of Sex and the City and may or may not be inspired to live my life more like Carrie.)

So while I really have nothing to complain about when it comes to my new hometown there is a slight difficulty to dressing even if that difficulty is superficial in the scheme of life.

The change of season has come around and autumn has been in the air for about two months now. The dip in the temperature is cold for my standards, however it isn't below freezing nor is it unbearable. This is where the trouble comes in!! Trying to pack up my spring/summer wardrobe has been a challenge. What exactly do I pack away until March when the weather is still warm enough for short sleeves and dresses with a simple coat on top? When the sun is shining and the air is warm, can you get away with wearing your summer fancies with leaves on the ground? Sure, pastel colors are for the most part out, but some of my wardrobe is still okay to wear. So what exactly do I pack away?!

Oh the trouble of living in Vegas.

I realize this post is a total humble brag. I apologize for that -- I am just trying to get back into the habit of blogging again. Since I miss it so much, but really have nothing to post about!

  1. Pastel year 'round?! No thank you! I would be so sad if I couldn't wear my sweaters! Maybe you should invest in some lightweight wool pieces? Pop on a cloche and gloves and you're set for your harrowing Vegas winter.

    1. I like the idea of wearing sweaters more, but wool is itchy to me and I don't like wearing clothes so it almost becomes a chore to wearing long sleeves. Hahahaha!
